The home-made bomb exploded near the exit of Manchester Arena in Manchester, England, killing 22 people, including concert goers and parents, and injuring over 100 After the attack, Ariana fled from Enlgland and launched into philanthropy mode. Among the list of performers were heavy weight names like Justin Bieber, Pharell, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus. Of course among the list of performers was Mac Miller, a rap artist and Ariana’s boyfriend. The two performed their duet,”The Way”, a favorite for a lot of fans. I , personally love that song. Mac Miller also permfored his song, “Dang!” from his album, The Divine Feminine. Did I mention how much I love Mac Miller? The 2003 song has been an emotionally captivating anthem forever. Unfortunately for Fergie fans, the singer was not present for unknown reasons. However, Ariana did a great job filling in for her. According to the Mirror U.K, 60,000 people turned out for the event and the artists that performed at the concerts did it for free. Proceeds from the concert will go to an emergency fund set up by the city of Manchester and the British Red Cross. In an emotional speech Ariana thanked the crowd deeply for making the choice to come out to the event. She told the crowd, “I think that the kind of love and unity your displaying is the kind the world really needs.” Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the Manchester victims.
