Brooklyn singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Garzón-Montano has shared “The Game” Remix ft. Junglepussy today. The track, pulled from the instrumental album of his critically acclaimed debut Jardín, takes on a new dimension with verses from the New York-based rapper. Listen here.

Dubbed one of the “Best Albums of 2017” by NPR, Billboard, KCRW, and more, Jardín led Gabriel on a tour across the globe and saw him performing on NPR’s Tiny Desk shortly after its release. The album inspired a mini-documentary that takes a look into Gabriel’s recording process, highlighting the techniques that made Jardín a sonic stand-out this year. Exhibiting a compositional craftsmanship, the album confirms Garzón-Montano’s innate pop sensibilities and his indisputable knack for fusing a wide range of classic influences and cutting-edge ideas to create a sound all his own.

“Here right now, but I’m feeling old school”

“The Game” definitely channels old school vibes with a funky, bright, uptempo beat which coincides perfectly with Junglepussy’s catchy lyrics and dope rhymes

“The only jerk I like is chicken dude”

“Went to the doctor the other day and she said I had the heart of an athlete. Asked me if I played any sports. I said, “Girl, I just be playing these niggas.””

This is my first time ever listening to Brooklyn-based artist, Junglepussy, and I think her rhymes are DOPEEEEE. This track, overall, had me nodding to the beat, tapping my feet, and dancing along to the funky beat. It’s safe to say that Gabriel and Junglepussy were effortlessly paired for this remix. Everything blended so well together. I would recommend this song to everyone I know and see myself adding this to my current music rotation.
