It’s the holiday season which means that there are plenty of parties and events to attend, whether it be going to a Christmas party or a NYE bash. To make sure that your outfit turn heads when you make your entrance, find some inspiration from any of these tips.

1. Velvet Dress

This velvet dress is from Fashion Nova.Velvet dresses have been very popular this fall and winter. A dress made from this fabric has a luxurious look, which makes it perfect for a more formal holiday event. Velvet looks great in green and red as well, making it even more festive.

2. Metallic Dress

This dress is from Pretty Little Thing. The fabric of metallic dresses give them a glamorous look that make them perfect for a classy Christmas Party. Like this gold dress, metallic dresses are paired well with black accessories.

3. Winter White

An all white outfit is a chic, yet simple holiday outfit. Technically wearing all white after labor day is breaking a fashion rule, but white is also considered a Christmas/holiday color as well, so it is allowed in this instance. Gold or silver accessories would go best with this outfit.

4. Sequins

Sequins are very festive whether they be worn in a dress, shirt, or even a jumpsuit. This festive flair that they have makes them perfect for events like New Year’s Eve parties. Sequins are so flashy that an outfit consisting of them would not require a lot of jewelry.

5. Fur Vest

The winter time requires layers, and  fur vest is the perfect layering piece for parties. It can be worn with a simple dress to add some flair, or a flashier garment to make the look even more elegant and luxurious. A fur vest would actually go well with the outfits previously listed, especially one that is made with white fur, or black or brown fur for an all white outfit.

6. Ugly Sweater

Despite it’s name, an ugly Christmas sweater can be made chic. Pair the sweater with either a skirt, dress, or even nice pants or jeans. Add some cute booties or heels in order to create a fierce and festive look for a Christmas party.
