Songwriter Benjamin Jaffe is stepping out from his longtime role as half of Americana duo Honeyhoneyto bring his talents as a solo artist back to the forefront, first with “Dominator”, and now the contemplative “Blooming”, streaming now exclusively via No Depression. The quick-paced drums ground the echoing, breathy guitars and synths, carried along by Jaffe’s stream of conscious style of storytelling.

Both tracks’ seamless blend of folk, indie rock, and experimentalism speak to Ben’s strength as a songwriter and recording artist, soon to be fully showcased on his upcoming album Oh, Wild Ocean of Love, out next year. Proceeds from sales of the “Dominator” track go to benefit the Santa Fe Dreamers Project, an organization that gives immigrant youth the tools to succeed.

After a successful run of Honeyhoney shows this October, Benjamin Jaffe will be making his solo debut in his new hometown of NYC with a show at Union Pool this November 1. For more info, see below.
