Seattle-based Pacific elites The Flavr Blue shared their new remix video for “Top Down” featuring The Last Artful and Dodgr.

Filmed in Portland and directed by Ikaika Cofer / Tiki, the song comes off their recently released sophomore album Blue Dream which has earned praise from the likes of Billboard, Complex, The Seattle Times, and more.

Blue Dream is a 14-track collection fronted by Grammy-nominated Hollis Wong Wear while producers/vocalists Lace Cadence and Parker Joe triangulate between pulsing electronic pop, chilled out R&B, and melodic hip-hop. Much like its namesake, the album provides a relaxing high and a subtly invigorating rush, highlighted by punchy electronics and rooftop-ready West Coast hip-hop. The result is has arguably been considered their most compelling and artistically honest work to date.

Lead vocalist Hollis Wong-Wear, who was nominated for a 2014 Grammy for her work on “White Walls” with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis on The Heist, Parker Joe, and Lace Cadence of The Flavr Blue come together with The Last Artful and Dodgr to create the perfect carefree, effortless vibe in the “Top Down (Remix)” Video as they smoke, drink, rhyme, sing, and chill in front of a liquor store with their friends.

Top Down may sound like a summer anthem with all of the carefree vibes it has to offer, but this chilled out, feel good song is just about celebrating good times with friends, forgetting about the worries tomorrow may bring and focusing on what’s happening in the here and now. Let’s not forget cutting out the fake friends too.
