Nicki Minaj released the video for her hit No Frauds yesterday alongside fellow Young Money mates, Drake and Lil Wayne. The video is Nicki’s visual response (I use that term lightly) to Remy Ma’s diss track, ‘Seether’. The whole theme of the video is riches, royalty, and power. So, its no surprise that the video was shot in the United Kingdom where there is a rich history of royal families in power. Nicki is featured in the video donned glamorously in jewels, glitter, an elaborate head piece, and of course, a crown.

However two big things stood out in this video: Rah Ali’s apperance and Nicki’s use of the Westminster Bridge after the attacks.

Lets start off with the Rah situation.

As we all know, Nicki and Remy have been at a silent war for over a decade that is just now reaching its boiling point. Lets run through this beef real quick.

Nicki and Remy sent numerous low-key jabs at each other over their years in the rap game. However, Remy fucked herself up when she shot her friend, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, over money (2-3k) she allegedly stole. While Remy rotted away for 6 years in prison, Nicki catapulted to the top of the rap game, dubbing herself the queen of rap.

With her loyal fan of ‘Barbs’ and her numerous success over the years, its no surprise that Remy might have felt that she missed her chance. Upon her release things took a turn for the worse. The two had been playing nice with each-other during the time she was first released,. But petty jabs and side eye disses sent the two to war. When Remy dissed Nicki with her brutal track, ‘Shether’- a scathing 7 minute diss record it was safe to say that a rap beef would soon commence.

Nothing was off limits in this song. Remy came for Nicki’s butt implants, sexual history, and the fact that she is paying for her brothers lawyer even though he is an allegedly pedophile and rapist. Hip-Hop fans waited days for Nicki to respond which she eventually did, dropping three new songs: No Frauds, Changed It, and REgret in Your Tears.

Nicki fired back to Remy Ma on No Frauds, which many hip-hop fans thought was a weak response. However loyal Nicki supports felt that Nicki made a HIT not a DISS.“We don’t do diss records we drop hit records and diss you on them, ” said Nicki via a since deleted Instagram post. She addressed Remy briefly in the song and that was all she needed to do. Shes the queen why bother with peasants.

Nicki posted this picture on Instagram with Rah Ali before her appearance in the video. This prompted many LHH and Nicki fans to speculate that Nicki and Rah were teaming up because of the suspected feud between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma.
Rah posted the message below addressing the situation:

“It’s important for people to know that the deterioration of my friendship with Remy Ma took place during season 6 of Love and Hip Hop. I want people to know that what they watched unfold was in no way staged or scripted and that I truly felt betrayed by Remy at the time,” she wrote

Well, her appearance may have just stirred up more drama in the rap world.

Rah Ali used to be a close friend and affilate of Remy Ma back in the day.

However the tight relationship between the two would soon fizzle out. On Love & Hip-Hop, numerous incidents between the two have almost lead to them coming to blows on the ratchet, drama filled reality show. From what viewers can see on television, betrayal, lies, and deceit all played a part in the deterioration of their friendship.

Now, Rah has teamed up with Nicki in her war against Remy Ma. In the video Nicki goes hard as hell on the lines that she disses Remy in. Look at that mug:

What type of bum bitch shoot a friend over a rack? What type of mother leave her one son over a stack? Lil Boogie down basic bitch thinkin’ she back

Many fans took to twitter to address the Rah Ali x No Frauds appearance.

Pick a side pick a side..

Another thing that stood out to some fans was that Nicki Minaj’s still used the Westminster Bridge in her video after the terrorist attacks. The terrorist attacks took place just ONE day after Nicki filmed her portions on the bridge. According to an article by Fox News, a source that the video would take out the parts filmed on the bridge.

“When everybody involved in the project heard the news they were devastated and thought it would be in bad taste to feature it,” said the source to the UK-based publication. “The other London scenes will remain, but it’s highly doubtful the bridge footage will make the cut.”

However when the video was released yesterday with the scenes still in there, some felt that it was in poor taste.

The Westminster Bridge attacks were done by 52-year-old Briton Khalid Masood. He drove a car into pedestrians on the pavement along the south side of Westminster Bridge and Bridge Street, injuring more than 50 people, four of them fatally.

While some fans felt that people were just being bitches because it was Nicki.
