Tweet Share Share Email WhatsAppShares 0Constant bickering has become normal these days for our current president. President Trump’s method of delivery usually puts him in the hot seat of so many controversial issues. His Twitter fingers are known to strike a few nerves. However, sharing intelligence secrets may strike a conversation he isn’t ready for, or is he? Although President Trump supporters try to justify that his direct approach is ideal for this country, there are some actions that simply don’t make any sense. Leaking highly classified information being one of those actions. In a meeting between Trump, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, Trump divulged to the Russian officials an advance in bomb making developed by the Islamic State that could be used against commercial aircraft. According to USA Today, Operatives from the Islamic State have determined how to implant and mask an explosive inside the battery of a laptop computer, increasing the likelihood that a bomb can be slipped past screeners onto an airplane. The battery with the explosive charge still functions enough to allow airport security officials to power up the laptop, a standard test to determine if the machine is safe. The fact that the president fired the FBI Director, James Comey, because of his disapproval of the director’s investigation into whether President Trump’s advisers colluded with the Russian government to steer the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, makes the allegations against the president that much MORE interesting. You have to wonder, “Was Comey fired abruptly in order to cover up corruption? Or was he fired to “restore public confidence in the FBI,”as the Trump administration initially explained. Trump’s connections with Russia has Americans curious and his affiliations with Russia are proving to be detrimental to his approval rate. The president has denied any ill intentions but I’m not convinced. It has become a habit to expect the unexpected from Trump’s Administration. According to sources, the latest news is that President Trump attempted to interfere with Comey’s investigation of Michael Flynn, former National Security Advisor. Flynn was under investigation following his communications with the Russian Ambassador. Flynn had not been truthful about his contacts with Russia regarding the sanctions placed on Russia by the Obama Administration. If these allegations are true, the Trump Administration could be facing impeachment.
