The famous scientist and astronaut took to the runway for the fashion show of designer Nick Graham. According to the designer’s website, Nick Graham is the founder of Joe Boxer which now sells men’s professional clothing and accessories for the modern guy. The designs that Nye and Aldrin modeled on the runway could only be described as modern. Bill Nye wore a silver blazer with rockets, printed in black covering the jacket. The blazer was paired with grey pants, a white dress shirt, black dress shoes, and a black bowtie, which the scientist is famed for wearing. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin’s look was more relaxed, but still cool and futuristic. Aldrin wore a silver bomber jacket, which might remind one of a space suit. Paired with the jacket was a graphic space tee, a belt with a big silver buckle, black pants, and silver sneakers to match the jacket. Twitter responded to the men modeling at NYFW to praise them, saying how they “slayed” and looked great on the runway. The two science men turned models even tweeted about their debut themselves. Aldrin tweeted, “Someone said science never looked cooler” to which Nye responded saying “I don’t disagree, necessarily…..”. This might be the start of a great career in fashion for these men. Goes to show that despite what haters may say, you are never to old to start your modeling career.
