Fashion’s elite pour into New York for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund

The 13th annual Council of Fashion Designers of America/Vogue Fashion Fund Gala was held on Monday, in New York. The Spring Studios is where the event took place, and celebrities and designers flooded in for the Gala.

The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund is a competition to cultivate the next generation of emerging American fashion designers. Winners are awarded a $400,000,  as well as a business mentorship. Two runner-ups take home a prize of $150,000, according to the cfda.com

Since its establishment in 2003, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund program has granted $5.2 million to over 30 design companies.

This year sparked a great competition that came down to 10 finalist, which included: Adam Selman, AREA, Morgan Lane, Krewe Du Optic, Rochambeau, Stampd, and more. However, Kristopher and Laura Vassar Brock, of the Brock collection, were crowned this year’s winners.

The elite of the fashion industry were in attendance at this years fun gala. Anna Wintour, Solange Knowles, Michael Kors, Diane von Furstenberg, Kelly Rowland, Zendaya and more, all came to the gala turning heads.
